Vogindra Vandana Dasa

(Brahmin Priest of Vaisnavism)

Yogindra Vandana Dasa ("Yogi") is a New Orleans native and Brahmin priest of Vaisnavism, an ancient branch of the Vedic, or Hindu, tradition. He was initiated by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, the Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). In the early 1970's, Yogi helped found the Radha Radhakantha Temple on Esplanade Avenue in New Orleans as well as the New Talavana Temple and Farm in Carriere, MS. He is currently the president of ISKCON Mississippi and a working board member of ISKCON New Orleans.​
